We do not think that the blogging techniques used in the seocontest2008 competition for getting high rankings truly represents the reality of gaining great search results through a quality website. Let's face it, most small businesses just don't have the time for blogs. We decided to enter to learn and underline the point that blogs should not pre-empt legitimate sites for a search category just because they are capable of linking frenzies out in the social networking woorld...a world that in most cases is just not on the radar for a small business trying to market their goods and services on a limited budget. We believe in Google's golden rule that in today's search engine optimization world, SEO, content is king! We will keep you posted on our progress and observations throughout the seocontest2008 period.
